The beautiful city of Marseille is a port city in southern France and has been a route for immigration and trade since its founding. I went during the beautiful summer and trust me it was really hot. I decided to go straight after Switzerland so the place felt different but I enjoyed the place and what it had to offer me.
The city is very historic and can be seen during the walks along the streets of the city. We stayed at the old port for the night and left very early the next morning.
Day time was pretty hot so we just kept it in the city and explore the local streets and market. There are enough options for food.
Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica, the most distinctive landmark in the city and c can not be missed as the structure is on the top of the hill and must-see. There is a toy train which goes to the top and is a beautiful journey and ride.
The city has a lot to offer which one can check in one day. Vieille Charité
